I'm scared it'll turn out badly. It's forever.
You see the final design before the needle touches your skin, and we don't start until you love it.

Soul in every needle
刺青の芸術
The art of tattooing
Behind the needle
I'm Hiroshi Kawai. I started tattooing in Japan and I've been doing this for 6 years. I stuck with black and grey and Japanese style because everything depends on line and shading: there's no color to hide anything, and that pushes me to take care of every detail. I chose Huanchaco because I grew up here, and I like working close to the beach, connected to the sea.
Real work, no filters
I specialize in black and grey: realism and Japanese. I also do lettering, blackwork, anime and realistic pet portraits. Pick a style and see how it looks on skin. There's more at @hiroshitatts.

How does it work?
Four steps and how long each one takes, so you know what to expect.
Placement, size and a reference or two. That's all I need.
I send you the sketch and we adjust it until you love it.
Private studio, your choice of music and breaks whenever you need them.
You take home the aftercare guide and I'm with you until it heals.
How much does it cost?
I don't have fixed prices: every tattoo is quoted based on your idea. Message me on WhatsApp and I'll reply with a fixed price in writing before the session.
From tiny pieces to full sleeves and back pieces.
Some areas take longer than others.
Shading, realism and backgrounds add hours of work.
Large pieces are done over several sessions.
